We work with structural strengthening specialists Fibrwrap CCUK, to deliver carbon fibre reinforced polymer (CFRP) strengthening schemes across the UK.

Our engineering designs for Fibrwrap have included reinforcing the Peaseholm Glen Bridge in Scarborough and strengthening works to Procter & Gamble’s Innovation Centre in Reading, using innovative carbon fibre technology.

“Fibrwrap’s technology is hugely effective in adding major structural strength and its uses are endless. Unlike concrete or steel, carbon fibre doesn’t have a British Standard design code, but we have established an unrivalled understanding of the material.

Our success lies in our ability to produce accurate project evaluations, effective designs and precise calculations, which continually translate into successful projects.” Erol Erturan, Adept’s Managing Director

Other high-profile work we have completed for Fibrwrap includes strengthening works for renovating a London South Bank University building, a bear pit at Dudley Zoo, reinforcing floor plates on the maternity ward at Barnsley General Hospital for new birthing pools to be installed, repairing water pipes at EON Energy’s power station in North Wales and strengthening floor slabs at Blackburn Cathedral.

Our services also include mesh and fibre reinforced concrete ground slab designs.
