Benefits realised
The existing infrastructure was modelled to a high degree of accuracy, which was only enabled by using point clouds to capture the existing equipment and structures. The new support structure was then designed to sit at a level that wouldn’t impede the use of any of the existing equipment, or clash. Using the Revit model to generate the analysis model reduced the design time.
