The technology we use is aimed at increasing productivity, allowing us to achieve more, in less time, to provide a more efficient service for our customers. Our experienced team have been extensively trained in using the software packages outlined below and are both inspired and enthusiastic in implementing cutting-edge solutions.
Cyber Essentials
Cyber Essentials is a government-backed cyber security certification scheme that sets out a good baseline of cyber security suitable for all organisations in all sectors. The scheme addresses five key controls that, when implemented correctly, can prevent around 80% of cyber attacks.
At Adept, we take data protection and cyber security seriously. We are proud to have achieved Cyber Essentials certification, demonstrating our commitment to safeguarding our systems and protecting client information from common online threats.
We have also achieved the enhanced accreditation Cyber Essentials Plus. This process involves a rigorous independent assessment of our systems and security controls and reflects our ongoing dedication to maintaining the highest standards of cyber resilience across our operations.
BIM
We have embraced BIM (Building Information Modelling) since our beginnings in 2007, recognising its value in delivering coordinated, efficient, and high-quality engineering solutions. Since 2013, we have implemented BIM across all projects, embedding digital design and information management at the heart of our delivery approach.
We are proud to be ISO 19650 accredited through Stroma, affirming our commitment to industry best practice in structured information management throughout the asset lifecycle.

At Adept we invest in modern technology to enhance collaboration, accuracy, and project delivery at every stage. Our office is equipped with high-performance workstations, dual-monitor setups, and cloud-based file management systems to support intensive modelling, analysis, and real-time data sharing across project teams.
Our meeting and collaboration spaces feature large-format displays, video conferencing capabilities, and presentation systems, making it easy to engage with clients and partners, whether in person or remotely.
We use a range of advanced tools to support survey, design, and visualisation workflows, including:
- FARO Laser Scanner – For high-precision 3D point cloud capture, ideal for surveying existing buildings, infrastructure, and complex environments.
- Drone Technology – Used for aerial site inspections, photogrammetry, and topographical surveys, offering a safe, efficient way to gather large-scale spatial data.
- Meta Quest 3 VR Headset – Enables immersive visualisation of 3D models and environments, supporting design reviews, stakeholder engagement, and early-stage spatial validation.

Together, these technologies allow us to streamline design processes, reduce risk, and deliver more informed, coordinated solutions.
