At Adept, carbon reduction informs both how we operate as a business and how we deliver projects.

Since 2020, we have offset 110% of our corporate carbon footprint through the Rimba Raya project via Earthly, following our latest assessment reporting 160 tonnes of embodied carbon. As our team and premises grow, we continue to monitor and reduce our operational impacts, supported by quarterly Sustainability Team meetings that drive practical actions such as upgrading inefficient equipment and reducing energy waste.

In 2025, we also supported a number of low‑carbon and reuse‑led schemes, including:
Cheltenham Housing – affordable homes supported by an integrated SuDS strategy enhancing biodiversity and flood resilience.
The Old Bakery, Sheffield – refurbishment and repair of a heritage building to extend its life and reduce embodied carbon.
Hull College (CITB) – refurbishment of existing teaching spaces to improve facilities and efficiency.
MAN Truck & Bus, Stockton – conversion of a disused building into a future‑ready servicing facility, retaining local jobs.

This Earth Day, we remain committed to delivering responsible, low‑carbon engineering that benefits communities and the environment.
