Adept is providing civil and structural engineering services for a major Capital Works Programme at the University of Leeds, delivered by Morgan Sindall Construction via the Procure Partnerships Framework. The project includes the refurbishment of teaching spaces and entrances, recladding and reroofing works, and the creation of new student areas. Works are set for completion in late 2025.

Adept is providing full civil and structural engineering services across all phases of the University’s capital programme. Our scope includes structural assessments, refurbishment support, and coordination of new roofing and cladding systems to improve performance, safety and longevity.
Initial work began in the L C Miall Building, supporting laboratory and teaching upgrades within the Faculty of Biological Sciences. We are also enabling reconfigured entrances and informal student spaces, with careful planning to minimise disruption to campus operations.
Adept is working closely with Morgan Sindall’s Intelligent Solutions platform, using digital modelling, modern construction methods, and carbon reduction strategies to support sustainable delivery. In line with the project’s social value plan, we are actively contributing to student engagement and local community benefits through education and employment initiatives.
