We’re proud to celebrate the transformation of Leeds City College’s Mabgate Campus a £27m regeneration project that blends heritage, innovation, and community impact. Recently nominated for the Constructing Excellence Yorkshire & Humber Award – Regeneration & Conservation 2025

At the heart of the scheme is the restoration of Studio 24, a Victorian Non-Designated Heritage Asset, now reimagined as a landmark entrance to the campus. Alongside it, two new five-storey buildings, College House and the Enfield Centre, provide 6,800m² of purpose-built learning space for over 1,500 students and staff.

This project is a showcase of sustainable and forward-thinking design. From post-tensioned concrete floors that cut embedded carbon by 20%, to a pioneering battery-powered crane system that slashed diesel use by 90%, and a VR-enabled digital twin platform supporting the Building Safety Act, it’s a blueprint for the future of education and construction.
