Planning Approved for Landmark 100 Merrion Centre Project in Leeds

We’re thrilled to announce that planning permission has been unanimously granted by Leeds City Council for 100 Merrion Centre—a transformative mixed-use scheme set to bring over 1,100 student bedrooms to the heart of Leeds.

Acting on behalf of Town Centre Securities PLC, Richard Irving successfully secured approval for the landmark development, which includes a 37-storey new-build tower and the repurposing of the iconic Wade House, a 13-storey 1960s office block. This marks a major milestone as the Merrion Centre incorporates residential use for the first time in its 61-year history, reflecting TCS’s long-term vision to diversify and future-proof the estate.
