Adept Consulting Engineers Ltd is excited to announce the opening of a new office in Hull.

With bases in Leeds, London, Manchester and Sheffield, the addition of Hull marks an exciting milestone in the company’s growth. The new office at C4DI will be headed by Director, Paul Gill, a Hull native, who is eager to maintain the relationship with his roots.

Adept has a strong track record in delivering innovative civil and structural engineering projects across Yorkshire & the Humber. Current schemes in the region include the £17m Goole Hub & Leisure Centre for East Riding Leisure, secured as part of the £25m Goole Town Deal Fund to stimulate economic regeneration and deliver vital infrastructure in the town. Delivering key housing in the area, Adept is also working with Vistry Group to deliver 179 homes, including a mix of affordable rent, shared ownership and rent-to-buy properties at Humberston Avenue for housing provider, Amplius (formerly Longhurst Group).

Other schemes which are underway include Freshney Place leisure scheme with food hall and market for North East Lincolnshire Council, which is understood to be one of the biggest single investments in the town centre’s history; the development of a new 3G Multi-Use Games Area, facilities and overflow car parking within Costello Playing Field in Hessle for Hull City Council; and a £40m state-of-the-art Bogie Assembly & Service Centre for Siemens Mobility UK at Goole Rail Village. Adept is also providing civil and structural engineering designs for Willowfield School, a new 125-place facility which will cater for students with severe learning difficulties for Humber Education Trust. Initial planning is also underway with Harworth Estates for a combined scheme of 3500 new homes, school and community facilities at Freshney Valley in Grimsby West.

Commenting on the new office which opened this week, Paul said: “We’re excited to finally have a base in Hull, a city that’s always had a special place in my heart. Having a dedicated presence in Hull will mean we’re more in tune with the local area and the needs of its communities, helping us design solutions to best meet those needs and strengthen our relationships with clients and business partners in the region. Together, we’re excited to be playing a part in delivering all-important new housing, education and community facilities for local residents.”
