Another successful development: Wolverhampton Racecourse
Back to News15/04/25
We are pleased to be supporting another successful development in partnership with Adept Consulting Engineers Ltd and Arena Racing Company, as construction progresses for the buildings on a new greyhound racing facility at Wolverhampton Racecourse.
This new track will operate alongside the existing horseracing venue and is set to host a series of high-profile competitions, including historic events such as the St Leger and the Oaks, which have been part of the UK greyhound racing calendar since the 1920s.
Adept Manchester has delivered the structural design for the new steelwork, modifications to the existing frame, and below-ground drainage designs. Their technical leadership and commitment to engineering excellence have played a key role in shaping this complex and high-profile project.
Neil Brown, Director at Adept Manchester, said:
“This has been a challenging opportunity for our team to showcase the high standards of structural engineering we’re known for. We’re proud to contribute to a project that both respects the site’s heritage and supports its future ambitions.”
We look forward to seeing this new facility in full use and further strengthen Wolverhampton Racecourse’s reputation as a leading venue for racing in the UK.
