Adept appointed to £1.5 billion Innovation Chain North Framework

We’re delighted to announce that Adept has been appointed by Great Places Housing Group to its Innovation Chain North (ICN) framework of contractors and consultants for the next four years.
The £1.5 billion framework has been designed to support delivery of new homes across the north of England, not only to support Great Places’ affordable development programme but also other Housing Associations operating across the north.
One of the 103 contractors and consultants from the 206 that applied, Adept were selected based on technical competence, price and commitment to social value, to Lots C2 East and C2 West for engineering consultancy services. The contract covers the following areas:
East: Derbyshire East, Durham, Lincolnshire, North Nottinghamshire, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear and Yorkshire
West: Cheshire, Cumbria, Derbyshire West, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside and Staffordshire
Commenting on the appointment, Erol Erturan, MD of Adept Consulting Engineers, said: “We look forward to helping the framework members deliver high quality homes across the northwest and northeast. Our team offers expert consultancy for every aspect of civil and structural engineering, and we will use our cross-sector experience to support the diverse needs of each housing provider. We hope these new developments generate wider community transformations through beneficial environmental and social initiatives.”
Joanne Whitehead, Great Places’ Development Performance Manager, responsible for managing the framework, added: “We are delighted to be working with Adept on our new ICN framework. We are confident they will be able to work with us and the clients of ICN in delivering the sector’s extensive development ambitions in the north.”
The framework will run until June 2028.
