ADEPT HAVE EXPANDED ACROSS THE PENNINES

We are pleased to announce the opening of our new office in Manchester. Located in the Grade II listed Sevendale House, which is one of the most prominent buildings in Manchester’s Stevenson Square conservation area, close to Piccadilly Gardens, we are now centrally based to meet our growing customer base in the area.

Director Richard Parker says: “Expanding into Manchester is a natural step as we continue winning work throughout the region. There are a lot of exciting projects on the horizon in the North West and having a base in Manchester reinforces our intentions in the area, as well as our commitment to the projects that we are currently working on.”

Projects that Adept are currently working on in Manchester include Marshall Construction’s £20million transformation of Gateway House, known as the ‘lazy S’ building, next to Piccadilly Station, into a 182-bedroom apart hotel that incorporates retail and office space. In addition we are working on a number of affordable housing schemes in the North West including 125 homes across two sites in Telford and 20 homes near Leyland for Strategic Team Group.

Our new office will initially be headed up by Richard Parker and staffed by team members from Adept’s Leeds office, with plans in place to recruit a senior engineer to manage the office along with several supporting engineers and technicians, over the coming months.

Richard says “Sevendale House is a stunning, landmark building that offers an inspirational working environment which is easily accessible, has good transport links and benefits from having all of Manchester’s amenities on its doorstep. This made it the ideal base for us, as we begin building a dedicated team in Manchester that complements everything that we are renowned for in Leeds.”
