Adept forge links with Leeds University

As part of Adept’s links with Leeds University, Matthew Ramsden, a Director of Adept spent half a day mentoring 2^nd year students on their Structural Engineering assignment.

The assignment consisted of a concrete framed building where the students had to provide structural layouts with the sizes of the main structural elements calculated, in addition to considering the overall stability of the building.

Matthew was really impressed with the standard of the assignments presented to him and the enthusiasm of the students. The subsequent feedback from the University was also very positive with the students and their lecturer saying that the professional help was a very useful and enjoyable learning experience.
